It’s been a while since I last posted. The grandkids have been off school for summer and that means lots of babysitting for us. The last few weeks have shot past, especially the last weekend before they returned to school. We took them to Center Parcs, as we do most years, and we walked for miles and miles and swam every day. We’ve been back for three days and I’m still recovering. My back hurts, my ankles have swollen and my neck aches, but we have made more fantasic memories. When we’re gone, I hope they remember these holidays and how much we loved them. I think they’ll remember the cool robot waiters in Bella Italia. One of my happiest memories is number 1 granddaughter saying that when she thinks of holidays, she always thinks of Center Parcs. I had a session of Manual Lymphatic Drainage yesterday that normally helps with ankle swelling. They do feel less tight today. Needless to say, I got very little writing done. Life has returned to normal so it’s back onto the healthy eating and knuckling down to writing. I’m actually 65,000 words into book four. I hope it will be finished by New Year, but we have a cruise coming up just before Halloween. Just me and Paul sailing for seven days from Southampton to Portugal. Bliss.
